Dalkom ("we", "us") is a South African internet service provider offering fibre, 5G, fixed LTE, mobile data, VoIP, web hosting and related services. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

- Account information — name, ID/registration number, email, phone number, physical/installation address, billing details.
- Service information — packages ordered, coverage lookups, support tickets, call detail records for VoIP services (required for billing and by law).
- Payment information — we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by PCI-compliant payment providers.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type and usage data collected via cookies when you use our website.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, activate, bill and support the services you order.
- To check network coverage at your address.
- To comply with legal obligations, including RICA registration requirements where applicable.
- To communicate service notifications, invoices and — only with your consent — promotions.
4. Sharing of information
We share personal information only where necessary to deliver your service: with upstream network operators (e.g. fibre network owners) to activate your line, with payment processors to bill you, and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.
5. Data security
Your data is stored on servers in South Africa, protected with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and regular security reviews.
6. Your rights under POPIA
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
- Object to direct marketing at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
